ABOUT BLUEDRUPS LTD

Growing Profit, Restoring Nature, Powering Communities

BluedRups Ltd, also known as dRups Ltd, is a legally registered company with active status in Cameroon since 8 November 2017. We operate at the intersection of market-driven agriculture, social enterprise, ecological restoration, and sustainable real estate development. Our mission is to build resilient, profitable, and nature-positive value chains for smallholder farmers while reducing Cameroon’s dependency on imported agricultural inputs and creating modern living spaces that respect nature.

Headquartered in the heart of the South-West Region, we work directly with 10,000 plus smallholder farmers, women, and youth groups across Fako, Meme, Ndian, and Manyu Divisions. Every project we design balances four outcomes: increased farmer income, job creation, biodiversity protection, and measurable carbon removal. In 2025 we expanded into responsible land development to transform degraded landscapes into productive, livable, and ecologically balanced spaces.

Our Philosophy

We believe land should regenerate, not degrade. That means matching the right crop, livestock, housing, and input system to the right soil, climate, and biodiversity context. We use data, traditional knowledge, and DNA lineage tracing to select adaptive varieties, breeds, and building layouts that thrive without synthetic chemical overuse. Profit and planet are not trade-offs in our model. They reinforce each other.

Collaborating Partners and Technical Support

We deliver impact through strong partnerships:

Community and Private Partners

  • ICENECDEV NGO

Our Approach: Precision Regeneration and Responsible Land Use

Every farm, watershed, community, and land parcel is different. Our 6-step approach ensures solutions fit the context and last:

  1. Assess: Soil tests, water audits, biodiversity surveys, farmer interviews, and land degradation assessments.
  2. Classify: Categorize land as either degraded and suitable for rehabilitation and housing, or biodiverse and suitable for conservation and permaculture.
  3. Design: Use GIS and DNA lineage data to select crops, livestock, agroforestry species, and housing layouts matched to site conditions.
  4. Implement: Deploy water systems, plant materials, bio-inputs, energy solutions, and low-impact construction using local labor.
  5. Train: Build capacity in regenerative practices, business management, digital tools, and green building maintenance.
  6. Monitor: Track yield, income, carbon, biodiversity, water metrics, and building performance annually. Adjust and scale what works.

This approach eliminates the need for costly synthetic replacements and unsustainable land clearing. Instead, we use biology, data, and local resources to make farms more productive, landscapes more resilient, and communities more livable.
